Suspension, estrangement, contrast, drama. These are some of the emotional aspects present in Between Earth and Sky.
An extended sound world, which probes the inner aspects of the human being and builds a bridge between the incumbency of reality (Earth) and the infinite time of thought (Sky).
A suspended zone is delineated between Earth and Sky, a dense, magmatic, restless and hypnotic zone, where everything seems to lose its reference points, where real and unreal replace each other, compensate, cancel each other out.
Between Earth and Sky is composed of some tracks made a long time ago for the soundtrack of a concert/reading based on texts by P. P. Pasolini to which more recent compositions and sound fragments of various kinds have been added. The sound of the bass is often manipulated until it becomes unrecognizable and performs parts usually entrusted to other instruments.
A mix of electronic, ambient, post rock and minimal patterns that give life to an enveloping and layered sound.
