about

Fragments is the encounter between two similar musicians, being also very different though.
Three tracks that enclose their countless influences and give life to a personal sound, at times obscure, changeable, fragmented and rarefied.
Guitar phrasing, deep bass lines, electronic sounds and real time loops intersect, merge and collide.
A sound journey that slowly winds, thus gradually revealing shades of worlds enclosed in sound cells, in suspended and prolonged notes, in ethereal vibrations.
Fragments is the result of occasional recordings made in September 2019.
It is a spontaneous work, based on improvisation and with few guidelines.
These three tracks have similar but different conceptual features.
Tracks Part 1 and Part 2 follow what then became this work matrix, a certain rarefaction in instrumental interventions, a wide breath that leaves space and time to the succession of sounds. Track Part 3, on the other hand, comes from a defined pattern that develops and gradually increases in intensity. This is about being able to rummage into the ravines that music autonomously creates, to observe from different angles the flow of occurring sound events, the need to identify the pauses inherent in music. These are the peculiarities that inspired Fragments.
